First impression is they're not open yet (at 1100) because the green, shaded lawn has many empty tables. We approached the porch to find a kitty basking in the sun and happy to let us pet her. Inside, we were greeted with a smile even tho it is obvious we are not locals.

The decor is of local influence and modern-rustic; very comfortable. The glass blown drinking glasses fill kitchen cabinets and make me wish I had more to spend on just those. There are many quality designs available for sale and they do refills in them. The beer taps are unique and chalk special boards make sure you don't miss any opportunities.

The bartender encourages free samples of the craft brews they offer, and she knows you'll be leaving with a growler of your favourite. Beer is 10 / 10. The ESG and IPA are the most popular, but you really can't go wrong. The board orders the beer by popularity and includes seasonals at the bottom. Reasonably priced for the quality, but if you're looking for cheap beer, go to the grocery store and pick up a Budweiser.

The menu is limited for a restaurant, but posh for a pub with items like shrimp scampi, steak bites, fettuccini, ranchers pita, salmon sandwich, and typical bar food like nachos, or chips and salsa. The buffalo burger is ACTUAL buffalo!

Wow, what a gem and an absolute must for any foodie (you'll be thanking me later)!!

Started with the mushroom & tomato toast appetizer: divine! The combination of flavors and pairings with ingredients made my tastebuds sing. If I were local, I'd be here weekly if not more for this menu item alone. Spouse doesn't like feta but watching me eat with such gusto, even he tried a bite & agreed it was good. Also ordered the Ahi tuna with summer succotash: loved how tender & peppery the fish was. Delicious! If I could, I'd have ordered seconds on the succotash - it's better than any I've ever tried anywhere (or made).

Spouse ordered a steak pita & demolished it in a few bites. No words were necessary: he was too busy enjoying his food.

Beer: we tasted almost all their offerings & were impressed how many great options were available! Ultimately we had two different beers on-site & refilled our growler with their most popular golden beer.

Indoor seating included several tables under a covered porch and plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas on a grassy lawn. It was a cloudy day but most outdoor tables were occupied - clearly a popular place. Establishment had beautiful grounds, with flowers on the back porch & throughout. Even the building was brightly painted; everything about this place was cheery & inviting.

Servers were all young folks & they were hustling, from the host to the wait staff & food runner. Despite being busy, food & drinks were being brought out continuously. Service was friendly, genuine, & fast; it was notable.

Overall: it's been several days but I can't stop thinking of their food & our recent visit. It was that remarkable (between the food, service & ambiance) that we cannot wait to return. This place is a MUST for...

Terminal Gravity was a bit off on this latest trip to the area, but by far and wide, it's usually consistently great for every visit and we are always looking to potentially squeeze more than one meal into any trip up to Enterprise/Joseph area.

This time around we were a bit underwhelmed by our food. It wasn't that it was bad, it just wasn't as perfect as it has been so many times in the past. As the service gets newer and younger, it tends to suffer in the knowledge department and engagement; if you ask too many questions, there may be some REALLY uncomfortable moments of fumbling. And let's not forget: this place gets busy. SERIOUSLY BUSY. Expect long wait times, as high-demand places create long waits. Sure, it can suck, but this just tells you everyone wants to be here! We have kind of learned some of the best times to avoid the rushes and adjust accordingly.

As a whole though, TG is still winning our hearts. The beer is why you're here- its still fricking amazing. But the setting and atmosphere of that outdoor seating is pure magic. Its a joy watching my family light up when we get to our table. Menu has just the right touch of unique for pub food and generally always shines. BIG love to the Roasted Beet Reuben (this coming from a passionate carnivore), the Nachos, Steak Bites (and that saaauuuce) and the kids Butter Noodles (Cavatelli that'll keep them begging to come back every time!)

Thanks for always being the go-to, Terminal Gravity. Its a must...

My buddy and I arrived at this place after swooping in from Joseph and seeing Wallowa Lake, and I'm so glad we did! This is one of the most serene and wonderful restaurants I've ever eaten at. The tables outside are arranged on a shady, verdant lawn bisected by a beautiful creek that has a footbridge. It was simply gorgeous. Our waiter quickly took our order, and we each got the "Cowboy Combo" - a signature smash burger topped with cheese, tomato, carmelized onions, and other perfect toppings, and paired with a draft beer and choice of kettle chips or a salad. We both ordered the Terminal Gravity IPA, and it was phenomenal. The burger, though - my goodness, this was perhaps the most delicious burger I've ever had. It was a smashed, double-patty delight cooked to perfection. I'm not kidding, this burger was just divine. It was served with a pickle spear and yummy, crunchy kettle-cooked potato chips (not sure if they are homemade or out of a bag), but they were salty and satisfying. Both the beer and the burger meal was just $15. My buddy and I both ordered the the Cowboy Combo and had an extra pint (two each), and our bill was only $42. Unbelievable. The amazing food, coupled with great service, and the serene environment made this a place that only a fool would pass up. Thank you for a great experience, I can't wait to come back!

Hit or Miss? Staying at the Eagle View Hotel, now the SureStay, and walked 1.8 miles for lunch. You have to burn it off some how people. I don't live here so when I walked up I wasn't quite sure if I should order at the window, sit down and wait or go inside and order. You order at the window fyi. At least I did. I ordered a spicy bison burger and fries. They don't have fries 🍟. So I swung to the complete opposite and had a side salad which was sizeable and good. The burger though was very good and the brioche bun was excellent. There is a small creek that runs through the outdoor seating area which is quite nice. If you choose to sit on the far side of the creek, only about 40' from the house, you will be getting your own food from the window when it is ready. Near side of the creek there are one or two employees servicing the tables. Be ready for kids and dogs, a very family friendly place. Not bad, not good, just be prepared for kids playing in the small creek. Overall I enjoyed the experience. The burger was great, the salad was better for me than fries (grrrr) and paying $18 for a bison burger and side salad 🥗 I saw value in. I also enjoyed one of their IPA's and at $6 I could have sat there all day and drank beers, but I didn't want to crawl the 1.8 miles back to the hotel. Overall I found the Terminal Gravity Brewery & Pub a 'hit!'
