I was looking for a stove and I heard a advertisement on the radio about the new store in Manchester New Hampshire I knew exactly what I was looking for and when I met Steve the salesman I told him what I was looking for he was very knowledgeable and I was happy with his answers I ask him if I could install it and he said I could and it would save me some installation costs So it was delivered and I hooked up the pipe from my previous wood stove . Well I noticed a crack in one of the stones and called Steve he told me to get a hold of Casey Bergin I explained the situation and he rudely told me he would not send anybody from warranty down to fix the stove because I didn't have a permit for putting it in. Now mind you that I spoke to the Manufacturer (Ray) and told me for the first 90 day's that the company would get paid for the part the labor and travel time I tried to explain this to Casey and to no avail he would not do it .Well I finally broke and asked him to send me the stone and to this day I have not gotten the stone .....................This problem started in December and it is now March 3 and have not gotten the part to fix my stove So I suggest if you make any deals you get it in writing and be very careful with the warranty Service Manager ...........It's to bad my friend fell in love with the stove and wanted one to replace his I actually did some research and found a place that ships direct cutting out the middle man all together So I am just warning you as a customer ahead of time look around to avoid dealing with...
Read moreWhen we decided (like everyone else apparently) to get a wood pellet insert for our house this past September we headed over to our local Stove Shoppe in Epping. They had a great display layout of items to check out and we decided on one easily. The financing was a breeze to get thru and we just waited to hear when the until would come in. We got a call to schedule the installation towards the end of December and bright and early that day Tim & Allen (yes, really) showed up to do the deed. They took great care to make sure the Living Room Carpet was covered, assembled and installed the stove insert & chimney into our fireplace in just a couple of hours. Then Allen went over how the stove worked, gave me some pointers on running it and how to do the weekly & monthly cleaning job. Both were friendly and very helpful in getting us started and left nothing behind but a smile. We've had the stove now for three weeks and it works even better than we anticipated for the layout of our house, the furnace has not come on once. We were advised to call in March for the yearly cleaning and will do so. Overall, a very pleasant experience and we look forward to a nice...
Read moreThis is the only stove shop that we visited that gave us the name of someone who could actually install a gas fireplace. We went to many stores over the years. All they could do was install after the old one was removed and the area was all set up to just slide it in. The person who installed it removed the old one, rebuilt the frame to put the new one into and was certified to connect the gas all at a reasonable price. The gas fireplace is so nice. The flame can be adjusted, has back lights and gives us so much heat. We were so happy with the fireplace we bought a swing set for our grandchild from Fences Unlimited. It's very well built and made to last. It's sturdy enough that a grown up could use it. The only problem we had was we bought a ships steering wheel that was made for a different play set. The installers had to come back but they made it work properly for us. The installers were very accommodating. They moved the swing a few feet at the mothers request after they had it partially up which was not an easy task. All very nice people that...
