100th Meridian Museum — Attraction in Erick

A superb visit here late afternoon I was expecting the museum to be closed, I was fortunate there 4 officials inside 3 X-Men , 1 X women sadly named escape me . I was made very welcome as a visitor from the UK, we chatted about the meridian line which passes through my village in the UK .I highly recommend a visit here very friendly staff and I enjoyed the Roger Miller exhibition . Was closed when I tried to visit. Apparently by appointment only, but not sure the phone number listed for the museum is correct. Seems to be voicemail for unrelated company. Hoped that on the outside there would be info on the exact location of the Meridian on route 66 which the museum is located on, but no luck. Used gps to locate 100th meridian on route but found no marker to...

Wonderful museum staffed by the nicest local volunteers. Lots of interesting displays, entire rooms and artifacts. On the corner near the Roger Miller mural. "Buzzy" was so very nice and knowledgeable. We walked in and they asked us if we wanted to shuck corn in the antique corn shucker and we did. It's free but they do...
