The official sign in one of the earlier photos is no longer there, however, the register book is there still. Keep in mind this is active cattle grounds so don't be startled if you see cows for the first few minutes of the hike. There is a gravel parking area off the gravel road. Drive past the cemetery, over the cattle strips and down the gravel road. Ignore the first right as this is a heritage center, instead take the first left and continue down that gravel road to get to the trail head. The trail itself is spectacular!
