My doggo & I enjoy this little spot when we don't have several hours for a full park visit. I did find it odd, however, that the sign states it's open 8am - Sunset (which was 4:44pm on the day of our last visit) but the park ranger showed up at 4pm on the dot and told us she was closing the park. May not seem like much but I don't get nearly as much time as I would like to take my old boy on adventures these days and we have even less now that he is sick with Lymphoma, so those 44 minutes were sorely missed.

I enjoyed the park. The walkway around the park was nice. The historical signs describing the Battle were excellent, as well. The nearby Battle Acre Park and Aquila Randall Monument were also interesting

A small, but well-kept, memorial. Plenty of benches along the paths, with several informative signs. Worth a 15-30 minutesl stop.

It's a great dog park. It's not really a real park in the sense due to its size. There is a 1/3 ~1/2 mile loop going thru the park for walking or walking your dog. There are three stations along the trail that have poop bags. The one by the trail entrance has larger bags, like half size shopping bags. The two along along the trail, one across from 7-Eleven and the other by the alley behind the town homes and north pt rd have smaller size bags, like the size you'd get from the hardware store when you're getting some bolts or screws. During the warmer months they don't mow the center of the walking path so the amount of bugs is higher than average. Still it's not a bad place to walk your pet since you don't have to worry about them getting hit by a vehicle. I took a star off since they are bug friendly and don't mow the...

nature take trap Road and take it straight through the park at the North Point Boulevard I don't know why they never did that and don't make sense we got enough Parts there's nothing exciting there but I gave it a 5-star rating because I was tired and had a bench to set one at the time but I think it's silly I think it's very dangerous for all them cars to have to go up to them row homes to get to North Point Boulevard when they could Escape Trappe Road...
