Armitage is our go-to park with our pup. This is a Lane County Park and does require either a day use fee or a park pass. The area is usually very clean. They provide doggy bags for waste and several garbage cans scattered about the area. The ground is typically covered in bark or grasses which helps with issues with mud, but it's not always perfect during very wet and rainy Oregon weather. There are plenty of large trees that provide good shade in the summer and that drop leaves in the fall, which are always fun to play in. You will also find picnic tables/benches to sit at or for smaller dogs to hide under. There are some hide and seek shelters and often there are a few tennis balls and other toys about for dogs to discover and play with. The people are always friendly and dogs are typically well behaved. There is plenty of space for dogs to run, play together, or have solitary play time with their owners. I especially enjoy walking laps on the trail around the inner perimeter of the park. Exercise and good fun for all.

Restrooms are not near the dog park area, but can be found on...

Great park! As a visitor of many dog parks from coast to coast, including at truck stops which have very small (or in some cases non existent) fenced in areas that haven't been cleaned in probably months, I cant tell you how pleased I was to find this dog park. Incredibly spacious, both a large and small dog section, lots of dog clean up stations with trash cans and responsible owners who actually clean up after their dog (no uncleaned dog messed noted during my time there).

Decent amount of parking spots in the shade. The dog park was mud with wood chips. I don't know the weather in this area so if they get hit by heavy rain, then I can imagine this area would be VERY muddy. However, in the beginning of February, the weather was great and the area was minimally muddy. Would absolutely recommend for any dog owner in the area, even if passing through the area. Well worth the stop!

Just an fyi, there is pay for...

Love this park! Plenty of space, covered area with benches, a dog park when you first drive in, boat ramp easily accessible and they have a ton of truck and trailer parking, day use fee station is right in front by dog park, $3/day use fee and it takes card or cash. It does have the river access but people with small children need to have them in life vests at all times and animals on leash. The current is really strong about 10feet from river bank and we have had to rescue a dog that got swept downstream, people have been severely injured trying to jump from old railroad bridge and several people needing help out due to temperature of water. Even if it is 90 degrees outside the water...

There are two parks- one for big dogs and one for small dogs. The big dog area is larger. It is half grass and half mulch/dirt. There is a nice walking path around the outside edge and picnic tables and seats throughout the park. There is is a water spigot and some buckets and pools for the dogs. The doggie bags and trash cans are always stocked and cleaned! There is a sign for $5 day use fee but I know lots of people don't pay to park (there is debate whether that is for the dog park or just campers). If you come regularly I recommend getting a Lane County parks pass for a year just in case.

Great enclosed dog park. Costs $5 to park, or you can buy an annual pass for $40. Very worth it if you live in the area and go often! Well maintained, not as muddy as other parks can get. Areas with grass, bark, stones etc so different terrains for the pups. A few kiddie pools for the dogs to drink or roll around in, stocked with poop bags, and tennis balls galore too. One big park, so small and big dogs play together, but I've been a few times now and had no issues.
