Nothing but riff raff hang out in the north parking lot. Lots of drug dealing and homeless caravan hang out at this park. I have caught people coming in at night and literally going to the bathroom in the parking lot when there is a restroom near by. Someone went straking naked in the east parking lot.The homeless attract more drug deals. We have hundreds of hours of video footage of all kinds of bad stuff going on. Called the cops and none emergency hotline numerous times and that seem super useless. I won't allow my kids to hang out at the park and I do regret moving here.

I fully admit that I only stopped at this park to see if I could get decent photos of the way the light from the sunset was hitting the mountains yesterday. Answer: not really. Only way to do that is if you're in the passenger seat of a car on I-5 with a high-speed camera...not if you're a driver with a death-wish.

It has the best climbing tree I've ever seen. Would drive the hour to go back just for that but the art festival that was going on during my visit made our trip way better than I could have hoped for.

A sweet place to play sports, relax, walk your dog, have a barbeque, day park, gardening and/or have a party. There are wonderful bathrooms and drinking fountains, even one for dogs, a very fun and modern playground and memorial about erecting the park up. There is also lots of parking in various parking. It's right between the freeway ramp and old Broadway. It is also very close to tje Lucky Market and the year round fruit stand in the big red barn and is very near to two other parks as well; Garfield Baseball Park and Wiggums Hollow Skate Park. So Jackson park is right in the middle of everything and is a very hip and happening little place and let me tell you the folks that show up there really respect and enjoy sports and mingling with the crowd until night fall. Other times people just keep quietly to themselves and enjoy quit time in their cars, long walks and observing the activities from the bleacher. I recommend this park because everybody is enthusiactic and well behaved. There are sports equipment which may be rented with the field but it may be for scheduled events from organizations and school facilities but they are there. The Stands are well fenced at the pitchers mounds and there are drinking fountains and bathrooms for the fans on that side of the park. But whenever there's a sporting event or just guys playing basketball or random sports, it draws a loving crowd. I think that's what most people are looking for at Jackson Park and...

A Song I wrote a song about my Dog 🐕

"Real Love Yuki"

Hey Yuki, you’re the one for me, A little ball of fur and light, so wild and free. When you run in circles, chasing your tail, You lift me higher, and we both sail. In the morning sun, we wander slow, You wag your tail, like you already know, That you’re my baby, yeah, my little Yuki, You and me, forever we’ll be groovy. Oh Yuki, my real love, baby, You’re the only one who drives me crazy, With your eyes so bright, and your spirit wild, You’re my heart, my soul, my loving child You curl up close when the day’s all done, A peaceful sleep, after all the fun, In your dreams you chase, and I smile so wide, Cause my love for you, I can’t hide. In the starlit night, we drift away, I whisper softly, we’ll be okay, Cause you’re my Yuki, yeah, my real love, Sent from heaven, like a gift from above. Oh Yuki, my real love, baby, You’re the only one who drives me crazy, With your eyes so bright, and your spirit wild, You’re my heart, my soul, my loving child. Oh Yuki, my real love baby, With you, I’m always free and lazy, You’re the beat in my heart, the love in my soul, Together forever, we’re...

I brought my 10 yr old black lab to the park to play. This is a nice park with large fields to run around. They supply poo bags which is always nice. There is a Nice playground for kids which has a cool looking jungle gym and a little zip line. I love that this park has little garden plots that you can rent in the spring/summer. It's really nice seeing everyone's garden especially when it's close to harvest time. I also appreciate that there are bathrooms and they actually keep soap and toilet paper stocked. I have been too many public bathrooms over the years without these 2 basic items so this is a plus. It may sound silly but a girl needs her TP and soap. The bathrooms are clean and they have sharps containers built in inside the bathrooms which I have now found to be an absolute necessity in today's world. Overall I love this park and so does my pup. The only negative thing is that they do lock the bathrooms for the whole winter. Jeez my post mentions the...
