Exeter Scenic River Trail — Attraction in Exeter Township

I discovered this fine trail on Google Maps and went over to check it out on Tuesday October 11, 2022. I had no trouble parking on this beautiful fall morning. After parking, I grabbed my camera and started walking. I ended up walking to the tunnel. That area gave me the creeps. I took off one star because of the gravel. I'm glad I walked instead of riding on that stuff. No boats or fishermen out on that green river that I could see. Highly recommended...

Exeter River is ideal if you're looking for a tidy 4.5- 5 mile run or a nice location to walk the dog or a bike ride with the kids. Conveniently located off Gibraltar Road, the fine gravel trail is easy to navigate and well maintained. If it wasn't for the rough parking which can get muddy at times, I'd give this park 5 stars. Luckily, Scoupe DeVille Ice Cream Parlor is just a 1/2 mile away...a welcome reward after a good...

I do love this trail but I walked 10 miles here A little bit ago and it ended up being very hard to find what I was looking for and I didn't end up finding it because the trail markers are pretty confusing and I kept having to check A picture of the map I had taken. They are also now ripping up trees and it looks like paving park of it which is nice but I wish they weren't ripping up more trees and it takes away...
