I'm not quite sure how much there is to say about a park. O.B. Nelson is probably the finest park in Fairfield. You have your choice of playing on the large wood playset, the smaller metal playground just a short walk away, playing some baseball or softball on the diamonds, or shredding in the bowl that was built in 2014. The plastic replacement is small, horribly designed and looks like something you would find in any dead beat town.
I (and my close friends) are super disappointed. The dog park is still cool, and the area is remote enough to catch a break if you really need some alone time.
