SCREAM Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Fairfield

We were traveling out of state to visit family in Fairfield. We decided to try this on a whim, partially because it's a local shop/ not a chain. The ice cream is DELICIOUS, the flavors are strong and good variety is offered. Our group had Come the the Dark Side (dark chocolate), Nutty Professor (dark chocolate, peanut butter & brownie), Fro Joe (coffee with chocolate), vanilla & Mint to Be (mint with small chocolate pieces). Absolutely wonderful! As we were leaving (& asking if he would deliver to WI....LOL), we found out that we have extremely close geographical ties! Small world!! They have gluten free, dairy free, egg free, and other food sensitivity options. They offer art competitions for kiddos. The staff is always warm and welcoming. They also They have kombucha on tap from a kombucha supplier in or around Fairfield. They also sell whole bean coffee if you like to grind it yourself. Their coffee is an Iowa based company. They get their milk supply to make their ice cream from a dairy farm close to Fairfield. They have a birthday party room too. They have board games there too if you want a chill hang out to help pass the time. Did I mention how awesome...

I don’t usually leave reviews anywhere, but I had to for this one! I’m not from the Fairfield area but stumbled upon scream ice cream at the co-op because of the amazing ingredients! I reached out to the store to find out more about the nutrition facts and the owner Katie Went above and beyond to get them for me. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Amazing ice cream...
