We live in Southport, Ct and love our beaches. At this beach you are able to grill, there is usually a lifeguard on guard. The bathrooms/change areas are clean. Although, for this summer there was no small restaurant in place and so no music. It is quiet, whatever sounds there are are made by children. Most of us bring our chairs, beach rugs and umbrellas to stay cool. Only residents with beach stickers are allowed. The police come on a regular basis to check that this rule is not violated.
