The Tasty Yolk (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Fairfield

I grew up on a competitors bacon egg and cheese and a few of us were very passionate about how good they were. It got to the point where we ate an unhealthy amount of them and tried to find any other place that could compete. We traveled to other towns, I even tried the “local spots” when I was on vacation to see if I could find a better bacon egg and cheese. After many years that place was the reigning champion and I was starting to think I was just being completely bias... then The Taste Yolk came along. It is a totally different type of breakfast sandwich but I can honestly say on several consecutive occasions I have had the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. If your in the market to delight your taste buds you can walk into this establishment and just have the chief pick a sandwich at random for you and you will not be disappointed. Also the sandwich is so large you may skip lunch. It’s probably a good thing because after eating such a delight, lunch may not taste as good because your mouth has been spoiled. We hired the Tasty Yolk food truck to serve breakfast at our Sunday post-wedding brunch and oh my goodness, best decision ever!! The food is AMAZING and exactly what everyone was craving after a long night of dancing and drinking. It was so nice that people could grab breakfast and sit, or if they were trying to hit the road, the Tasty Yolk packaged everything up so nicely. They had a variety of food packages to choose from, and also provided drinks and coffee for our guests (the Gatorade was a hit). Long live The Tasty Yolk!

I love a lot of the bacon egg and cheeses you can find around Fairfield, but there's just something about "The Pig" that gives me a total mouthgasm every time I take the first bite.

Why can't you guys bring your magic to NYC? BECs are seriously lacking in quality here and no one seems to realize it. Every place uses yellow American cheese, the eggs are scrambled by default, and the bacon tastes cheap and few places cook it right.

Please take New York by storm and end this plague. And start on the Upper West...
