Enjoyed Veteran's Memorial Park on a crisp fall afternoon. The leaves were changing color and dropping. It was curiously quiet as we were the only ones there. A group of vultures were perched on the side of the lake. They scattered as we approached but seemed more interested in something in the forest. You can walk around the lake on a small trail and they have couple's swings and picnic tables. I also saw a public chalk board. I didn't see anything else to do here. Not that it is needed.
