This is my first time here and I’m not getting a good impression so far. There is no clear direction on where things are what products are offered etc.I needed to drop my daughter off for a Girl Scout function. We were running a little late and the scouts were aware. When we got here there was no where to tell us where to go etc. A fellow patron sent me in the right direction and when I met up with one of the Girl Scout leaders, they gave me the hand, told my daughter where she needed to be, looked at me, and said “YOU can come back at 5”. Really? Now, I know this scout leader has nothing to do with Snipes so I’m sure I have another issue, however Snipes itself… I don’t know. I have no words. I walked right through an area that specifically said that you have to wear a wrist band past this point I went walking right through because I was wandering around looking for who we needed to meet. No one ever stopped me, asked to see the band, etc. If she wanted to buy something like a pumpkin or maybe get some food etc. I didn’t see any employees. I was certainly walking around clueless and no one offered to help except that random gentleman carrying a kid… I’m sure he didn’t work here. From what I see now looks unkept and shabby. I have heard great things about this place and right now I am just sitting in the parking lot dumbfounded. I am not a one and done person; I will always give someone the benefit of the doubt. Therefore if the situation presents itself again I will give Snipes another try. I won’t go out of...
Read moreVery disappointed. We drove over an hour to go to snipes for Apple picking. When we arrived it cost us 6 bucks a head just to park and then we spent over an hour just trying to find the orchard itself. Everyone kept giving us very unclear directions to a point where we were walking in circles. When we finally reached the orchard to pick apples the lady informed us that they were “picked clean”. There were literally no apples left. So that’s cool. Why wasn’t that posted somewhere BEFORE I paid 12 bucks to park; to walk around your farm for almost 90 minutes trying to find one of your main attractions and you’re basically saying “sorry, we’re sold out”? I don’t blame you for a drought that caused an Apple shortage. I blame you for not informing the customer in some way before they paid to park because I would’ve turned around and driven an hour home.
I will never come to...
Read moreI liked it was only 20 minutes away. It was Sunday at 11am September 27. Once there spent 25 minutes in a line of cars to park. After parking in a field with uncut grass trying to push a stroller we spent 10 dollars to enter. Once inside the hay ride line was a 30 minute wait. There was no apple picking. There was no pumpkin patch. Plenty of vendors selling nic nacks like purses, coasters, and 5 food carts (BBQ, american, Greek, ice cream, and cookies). Was lacking a lot of organization and direction inside. I feel as though I could have went to Walmart for a 5 dollar pumpkin and the local park for more entertainment. As we were leaving snipes farm the tractor doing the hay ride had us drive to the side of the dirt road then waved us to go by forcing us to smack my new car with a log and dip into a large dip bottoming...
