Beebe Woods — Attraction in Falmouth

Absolutely beautiful & stunning, day or night! I did have a great deal of trouble finding where I was supposed to park to get to Beebe Woods though. I tried Beebe Woods in my GPS twice & it brought me to a residential neighborhood. It wasn't until I finally gave up trying to get to Beebe Woods & decided to go to Highfield Hall instead, that I discovered/realized that in order to get to Beebe Woods, you park at Highfield Hall. So if your unsure where Beebe Woods is or how to get there, save yourself some time & frustration by typing Highfield Hall into your GPS instead of Beebe Woods & you'll get there just fine &be able to fully enjoy all the beauty it...

This is a great trail run and good for longer all day hikes toward the shore, but it honestly needs a few "THIS WAY BACK" signs at key splits. I did 10k or 6.2 miles on these trails and budgeted an appropriate amount of time with margin before sundown.

I went 20 minutes out and 35-40 min back. Somehow I overshot the main return to beachhead and had a he'll of a time tick tock during the blue hour. Fortunately my skills and fitness are such that I made it back, having gotten off the trail onto main roads several minutes earlier before dark trails. Beebe Woods is a preserve, sanctuary, and “sound bath” all rolled into one. It’s one of my favorite spots for walking, easy hiking, or trail running.
