The museum delivered on the name and more with art galleries, a guided highlights tour, and nearby walking trails. Although I did not get a chance to see a play during this visit, the property also hosts the Falmouth Theatre Guild. I took the special guided tour, which took place on the first and third Sundays of the month from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. This was the exact type of highlights tour that I advocate for at all museums! While not listed on the website, admission is currently $10 for adults and $0 for children, active military and their families, Card to Culture holders, and NEMA members. The entire museum and much of the gardens are wheelchair accessible, and a decent amount of seating is available. Always a pleasure to visit; it’s certainly a great place to visit on any given day you are sure to have been braced with great ambiance and eclectic feeling while grazing your way through Highfield weather it be the outside grounds beautiful landscapes including a breathtaking artistic hut design resting with in the middle of perfectly manicured lawn and beautiful flowers all having its place to grow around a beautiful historical building with lots of cultural learnings to the local community like myself to enjoy what the organization of talented artists perform and create for others to enjoy.
