I’ve been going to Woodneck Beach for almost 20 years and it’s always been a fantastic spot for exploration. At high tide Woodneck has amazing sheltered swimming and snorkeling in the saltwater marsh, and at low time the marsh partially drains leaving an awesome area to play with young children un shallow water. As the tide comes and goes, the channel (that separates bay from marsh) flows either in towards the marsh or out towards the bay (which makes for good floating).

It used to be a pay to park or beach sticker (which is already outrageous that you have to pay to swim in nature).
