Mayor Bob Leonard Park — Attraction in Farragut

It's always been a pretty good park, but in the last several years it's had a chunk of change invested into it with the three artificial grass soccer fields. There's also some real grass fields in the back, though they have smaller goals, intended for younger kids.

Good sand volleyball court, very active in the summer. Iirc, there are three nets for three concurrent games. The park staff has been doing a pretty good job maintaining the sand's quality.

Decent baseball fields. Kept in good shape.

Two water fountains for dogs to use at either end of the park.

Clean bathrooms, for a park.

Good walking trails, although for a serious walk or jog you'll need to do several circuits of the park. When baseball and soccer season are in full effect, you'll have plenty to watch while you run/walk.

The center of the park has a water area that often has ducks, and some usually winter there.

There's a playground for kids, with fairly new structures. I don't see too much activity on it, though; the focus of the park seems to lean strongly toward organized sport. Anchor park relatively nearby in Farragut may be a better place to take...

Convince is amazing not to mention the park is always 100% beautifully clean!! Softball/Baseball fields along with turf-floor soccer fields (4) basketball/by cycle trails along with amazing walking trails to fit any/every body type...walk you dog around & it will soon know immediately this park has officially become his favorite bc of all the intention people give to your fur baby!! This is a great local park that has been around for a long time. The walking track could use a fresh coat of asphalt and the wooden boardwalks and fences need to be replaced, just like every other Farragut park. But it's very clean and I see the Park and Rec employees there all the time. If it wasn't for the inconsiderate dog owners who don't clean up after their dogs and the people who think they are special and don't have to obey the park rules and stay off the athletic fields when the closed signs are present, it would be an...
