Certainly the best lake trails in the area. Nothing like running the paved 5.45 mile loop around Lake Fayetteville in the cool morning on a spring or fall day. The sunrise here is always remarkable. The bike riding loop here, closer to 7 miles and mostly dirt trails, is also very nice. Bathrooms are available at Veterans Park and water is also available there and just south of the botanical gardens. Can get pretty busy on the weekends and evenings, but still very nice. Honestly, I haven’t seen very much nature, in terms of animals, here. Somewhat surprising given I get deer in my yard, but I guess there is just enough traffic to keep them largely hidden.

I recently ran the paved trail around Lake Fayetteville. It’s right around 5.5 miles and it’s perfect for strolling, biking, running, skating, rollerblading, and scootering. It’s partly shaded, partly exposed, so definitely bring your sunscreen. šŸ˜Ž There’s ample parking at Veteran’s Park, near the Botanical Garden and at the Lake Fayetteville Marina. There’s even a sweet bistro serving up delicious smoothies and treats at the Marina too!

This place is magical! We had an incredible day with the grandparents. Fishing, pedal boat, enjoying the scenery and quality time together. The boat rental staff was so friendly and helpful and the fish were biting! We got great gear and advice from Hook, Line & Sinker in Bella Vista. This was the perfect lake recommendation for our crew!

This is my favorite place to go. It's beautiful out here. Good vibes always and nobody causes any trouble. The wind blows over the water to cool you off on a sunny day in the summer ā˜€ļø and in the fall and winter the scenery is beautiful. You will see cool wildlife out here too if you are patient. I watched a blue heron for several minutes the other day hunting small fish and it was dope. There are great walking and biking trails connecting it to several other places AND a couple different playgrounds and art to check out. Also there are several bathrooms that are well maintained. And you can rent a boat or go fishing! I love you lake...
