Let's start with it's a medium to almost small quaint park. It is broken up into three parts. They are divided by the street called Linden. Two parts on one side have walking paths and nice kid playground equipment. All with the usual sprinkiing of park benches and cast iron grills and walking paths. The other side slopes down to the semi sports lake. The swiming is fine and the water is usually clean. The bathrooms get a C rating which isn't that bad for a small park. I have seen worse. Just in front of the beach is a roof covered park bench area that can accomadate a medium to large party. Only reason I knew was bc we went back there the next day and a park employee happened to see us/notify us (not posted online anywhere only small signs in the park the day after testing). The park ranger and other park employees could be better about ensuring the safety of the people using the park, they are never there when people seem to need help, example: I got harassed and cussed out by an old man for asking him to get his dog/put it on leash as it charged me and my on leash dog from across a field.
