Driftwood Surf Shop — Attraction in Fernandina Beach

Read the hidden fine print before supporting this store. NO REFUNDS! The sign is placed on the counter yet turned away from you so that you don't question your purchase. I purchased my wife a gift, in two different colors, and tried to return the color she didn't like. The very first thing that the jerk behind the counter reached for was the sign that was turned backwards. Sorry, No refunds! Management makes the rules! What?! Who does this? The worst part is that I clearly explained my situation before the purchase. Jerk says, "buy them both and return the ones she doesn't like". My wife thanks you for her 2 pair of $150 flip flops! I thank you, because I'll never step foot back...

This place was great! We came to Amelia Island from Vilano where there were no good surf shops in walking distance, so this place by comparison was amazing. They had high quality Amelia swag, and pretty much every piece of clothing they carried was gorgeous. It was pricey, but that’s to be expected. I don’t mind spending full retail at small family owned businesses. It would have been nice if they had more sizes available in their swimsuits, as a lot of mediums were gone, but I can’t fault them for probably being really busy recently and selling out. Super nice...

If you are on Amelia Island looking for a surf shop, this is the place you want to go to. It has everything you could need for surfing,skateboarding,or just a day on the beach. For you or your kids. It has a very laid-back surf vibe. Even the dog is chill 😎. I have been surfing for over 30 years and have been in many surf shops. This one impressed me. The service is great, fast and friendly.
