Hold onto your pumpkin hats, folks, because I've got a gourd-geous review for Viola's Flower Garden pumpkin patch that'll make you fall over with laughter! We rounded up the whole gang, from my kids to my parents, brothers, sister-in-law, and even my little nephew. And let me tell you, this patch may be small, but it's bursting at the seams with surprises!

As we ventured through the hay bale maze, I couldn't help but think, "A-maize-ing! This is the best way to get lost and found in a field of straw." And the Halloween-style mini games? Well, they were so spook-tacular that even Frankenstein would've bolted over to join in the fun.

Now, let's talk pumpkins, my friends. Viola's Flower Garden had more pumpkins than you could shake a scarecrow at! It was a squash lover's dream come true. I mean, they had pumpkins in all shapes and sizes, from tiny pumpkins that were just pint-sized cuties to big ol' pumpkins that made my jaw drop. It was like a pumpkin paradise!

The decorations were a scream—super cute and totally Halloween-style. They really knew how to put the "eek" in chic!

But wait, there's more! As soon as we strolled in, we were greeted by a scavenger hunt that promised hidden activities aplenty. It was like a treasure hunt, but with a pumpkin twist. Talk about joy for all ages! The staff members were as friendly as a patch full of smiling pumpkins and oh-so-informative.

I'm already planning my return trip because I've heard they work their magic in every season. Who knows what kind of pumpkin wizardry they'll conjure up next?

Now, let's talk pricing. At just $5 a person, it's a deal so sweet it's like getting a treat without the tricks. And here's the icing on the pumpkin pie: kids under 3 get in for free!

Okay, let's address the elephant in the pumpkin patch—parking. It was a bit tight, but fear not, there was additional parking available across the street. Just a hop, skip, and a jump away from pumpkin paradise!

And can we take a moment to appreciate the outstanding weather in Flagstaff this time of year? It's like Mother Nature is giving us the perfect backdrop for our pumpkin patch adventures. But if you're still feeling too warm, Viola's Flower Garden has you covered with cool beverages for all ages. They really know how to keep the good...

The absolute best place in Northern AZ to get seeds, flowering plants, vegetable plants, herbs, trees, bushes & planting supplies. They have everything! Not only is the selection excellent, their customer service exceeds that! They are very friendly, helpful & knowledgable. Plus, the nursery itself is BEAUTIFUL! Just wandering around is relaxing and peaceful. They’ve done such a nice job of creating these paths that wind around and it overlooks a horse pasture & small valley. It’s gorgeous! (Makes sense that they do weddings there as well.)

Yes, the plants cost more than they do at Home Depot but I’ve found you get what you pay for. Not only are the plants at Viola’s healthier, you get a much better selection and the staff knowledge along with it. (Nothing against Home Depot; for the above reasons, I prefer getting my plants here. I also aim to support local small businesses when possible.) They also often have fresh vegetables & fruit for sale as well as local honey. Excited to stop in at the start of this...

After realizing I wouldn't be traveling for the holidays, I needed a Christmas tree quick. They were sold out everywhere (Flagstaff, Prescott, cottonwood, etc.)! Luckily, Viola's had some potted spruces (on sale) sold online and delivery is free for people within a 30 mile radius. I called to make sure it would be delivered on time and they assured me that they would get it to me by that night. Lo and behold, at 6 PM, I had a knock on my door and when I opened it, the perfect little spruce tree was outside (I live in a confusing jumble of apartment buildings, I'm surprised they so easily found me). It was absolutely perfect and looked very healthy. I was a little nervous about not being able to pick out the tree myself, but they delivered a nicely sized spruce. I am so pleased with how this purchase went, I highly recommend them! Summary: A very pleasant experience with great customer service, fast delivery, and a beautiful healthy...

You need to stroll through these paths and feel the joy that wafts from blooming plants. It seems like a free botanical gardens, until you realize you spent 3x an entrance fee to start or enhance your own floral display. Do it. Make a circuit through the pathways, then retrace your track going the opposite direction. You’ll see different plants and begin to get a solid idea of what combination fills your need. I do mean that. Concerning spring plants, it’s a need. The mid May day we visited, the stock and variety was abundant. Restraint can be a thing. Entertain your children with a Spot all the Bears game. It’ll buy you extra time there. The staff will stop at any moment to answer your questions, suggest solutions to your problems, recommend plants for your application. They are such kind, patient, and knowledgeable people. Best get out there— before we return and load our trunk again, reducing your options.

Very pretty grounds and lots of flowers, plants, and trees for sale. I hear they also host events and weddings on-site. We bought a growers box of Palisade peaches $65 and a 1/4 box of roasted "Hatch" Chiles $16. The peaches were alright, a little better than grocery store peaches but nothing to write home about. They were also supposed to be freestone but definitely seemed to be cling, which made processing them more tedious. We got the "medium heat" chilies because Hatch chilies are notoriously HOT and they said this batch was running hotter than usual. They were not hot, almost no heat. I had to get quite a few jalapenos and serranos, seeds and all to mix into the green salsa I made with them in order to get it to a medium hot level. So, adorable place and nice people but don't think I will be stopping in just for specially produce.

This little gem is amazing! Our family drove by last year, saw the pumpkin patch, and decided to check it out. It was so much fun and they had what felt like thousands of different types of pumpkins all over. Lots of great photo opps everywhere. It's not just a great stop for Halloween, but any time of the year. Any time we're up north, we have to make a stop to enjoy the weather and friendly folks that work there. It's definitely worth it to make a stop at Viola's!
