My experience was mixed. It started out nice with a sunny afternoon, but the wind was really high. Before the evening was over we were shivering in our seats. The grass seating further back didn't have much protection from the wind. As for the venue itself. It is a nice open air amphitheatre with mixed theatre seeing with grass seating further back. Up close is a pit where additional seeing was setup for.our event. Audio was decent quality if a bit hot. Some speakers used to projecting ended up blasting out ears. Still, the facility seems decent for open air. There is a small vending area with drinks and such along with space for a couple food trucks. Parking is, well,... Not the most handicap accessible. We parked in the handicap spaces closest to the entry and our special needs visitors still had to walk a loooooong way. Once in the gate the handicap walkway meandered back and forth easily tripling the distance needed to walk down to the seating. There was a gate near the lower seating which would have provided easy access for disabled visitors but it was locked and the parking lot used for it was blocked off for this event. Signage leading to the amphitheatre was poor. We ended up following Google maps directions and still missed the entry to the available parking lot. We initially ended up in the closed lot with the locked gate. While staff at the event said the gate could be unlocked to allow disable access, they never followed through on that. Overall that facility is good with some caveats for...
Read moreIf you’re looking for the ultimate spot to catch a concert in Arizona, look no further than Pepsi Amphitheater! Seriously, this place is a gem. When the valley’s blazing under 100°+ heat, you can always count on Flagstaff’s cooler temps to give you a refreshing break. It’s like stepping into an oasis of mild weather and great vibes!
Sure, you can reserve seats, but let me tell you, the real magic happens in the grassy GA area. Nothing beats laying back, chilling on the grass, and soaking in the tunes with a perfect view of the stage. It’s the perfect mix of comfort and excitement!
The food vendors? Always a win. Whether you’re craving a snack or something a little more substantial, they’ve got you covered. Plus, the bathrooms are surprisingly clean (a true rarity in concert venues), and the lines move faster than you can say “Pepsi!” As for drinks, yeah, they’re a little on the pricier side (what concert isn’t?), but it’s all part of the experience.
But honestly, the best part about Pepsi Amphitheater is its size. It’s small enough to make every performance feel intimate but big enough to bring in major acts. You’re not just another face in the crowd; you’re right there with the action. If you’re a music lover, this place is...
Read moreThis is aVERY cool venue. If you have the opportunity to see a show here, DO! The staff is so nice and helpful! We went to our first show and were unprepared - if you have a GA ticket be sure to bring something to sit on (is beach/camping chair or blanket.) The nights can be chilly, so a blanket is a good idea anyway. Anyway, I want to get back to the staff, in particular the manager named Steve; as I said, we were unprepared so I went to see if I could leave to go to the nearby Walmart to purchase a couple of chairs. Steve was so nice! He told me that he had a couple of chairs that he would let me use that I could use for the show, so I didn't have to go and spend the extra cash!As for the venue itself, it is small enough to be intimate without being claustrophobic, and there really isn't a bad seat so the stage is visible from pretty much anywhere.. It is an open air venue so you get to enjoy the fresh air as well. There are plenty of places to stay nearby, and if you have an RV or tent, Ft. Tuthill County Park, and Ft. Tuthill Military Campground and Lodging are literally right next door - set up your camp and walk to the show. Go see your favorite performers under the stars at 7000 feet... You...
