This is one of my favorite spots in Homosassa. It's a good place for me to take a short walk to get some fresh air and enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest. While relaxing and enjoying the view of the spring. They have a beautiful dog park, a small playground which is in the shade. a couple of picnic tables to relax and have a little something to eat. You can not swim in the spring.🛑 The spring is crystal clear with quite a variety of different fish as well as butterfly🦋 gardens all around the spring, Simply Paradise MicheleG

Empty today due to storm coming. Running was involved. Pup loved it. No competition. Storm blew in though and he wasnt happy about that. Two dog runs. Larger and smaller dogs seperate. This is a nice park with lots of quiet. Bags are provided if you forget. No excuse. Must clean up after yourself. Very clean. Trash cans provided. Sidewalks are well kept. Easy walk. Wheelchair friendly. Children's play area with slides. Volleyball court. Picnic tables with cover. Restrooms.

Sad day for Manny my Belgian Malinois, we showed up and stayed for about an hour with not a single other dog. 3 other families and dogs showed up as we were loading up to go so next time I'll be sure to come after 3pm. Really nice clean little park for pups, fenced in with a large and small dog section and a dog water fountain. Wish it had a swimming section though. There is a nice little pond but your pups cannot swim in it as there are alligators.

Bluebird park ranks a happy average. The area and park are some what small in size and layout. Most days I'm sure this works out great, but this small place can get busy on weekends.

We arrived and the pavilion was full of people, booked with a large party. Theres not much to the park. A short walking trail that passes the main pavilion, on to the restrooms, on to the playground, then ending at the dog park entrance.

Dog park was not busy at all, we were the only ones there. The park is provided with a large trash can and even a shovel to clean up after your pet. Despite the arrangement there was still plenty of dog piles to be found 😢.

The small breed area is pretty small, just a short run. The large breed area is about five times the size. Water is available as well as bags for clean up.

Safety did not seem to be an issue although we felt there was a visitor or two that may have been up to no good. This park is in a very old portion of Crystal River that can have much...

As the closest dog park to my house, Bluebird Springs is a decent trip for me and my pup. The park itself is nestled in a quiet, tree-lined area with a small playground and bathrooms nearby, but it is a bit of a walk to get to the dog enclosures from the parking area. The park has a large dog enclosure and a small dog enclosure, but both seem a bit on the small side, especially if there are ever more than a few dogs present. On the large dog side there is a decent bit of shade for hot days, and a water fountain (for both humans and dogs), but the dog portion was entirely clogged up...

When you pull up you will be graced with the overwhelming stench of either dog or possibly human pee. After walking in the blistering heat you approach the kids playground that is directly under the sun. The touch of the playground is too hot to play on. There's a dog park if you want to call it that; it's really just a big sand pit with a surrounding gate. After standing there for more than 5 minutes we realize the whole park is really just a wasp field ready to sting you at any chance they can get. We were chased out by the devil wasps and we will never be back. This...
