They keep a clean spot here at a beautiful location on the lake. It's a great place to have a peaceful, informative and fun time with the kids. Take the beautiful, paved, trail next to the (clean) restrooms. It was such an unexpectedly beautiful type of experience for me. A couple of suggestions would be to add a few more palm trees (please! They are lovely, and cooling by the sand volleyball court) around the bench by the swings. Read moreI enjoy this little historic hike. There are signs marking and explaining the historic significance throughout the short hike. The citrus trees were in bloom and smelled heavenly. The walk is very well kept and very clean , although there was some ugly graffiti marring the wooden overlook upon Silver Lake.
