Went to Doldrick's Escape Room with a family including teenaged boys. We've done a number of escape games (over 40), and this will be one for our "faves" list. Let's start with the Awesome: - The sets/scene - from the minute you walk in this room, you have a sense of being on a ship, fog and the lighting, and more (no spoilers here). Throughout the entire room, you'll be wowed by the level of detail, the interaction, and the production value of this room. - The storyline is funny (a bonus we've not experienced very often in rooms around the world), and the puzzles carry the story throughout - The puzzles are unique and although padlocks are involved, they are "cracked" with a broad variety of clues that keep your whole group working throughout the hour - Not linear - what that means for you - if you have a larger group (or even a family of 4), three of you don't have to wait around for one person to solve a puzzle - there are a number of puzzles to be completed and/or researched at the same time. In fact, it's almost impossible to solve some of the puzzles alone. Our hosts mentioned that the lobby will soon sport a cocktail area, and there as already comfortable seating and a pool table if you want to hang out before or after your room. This might not be the best room for first-time puzzle room folks as some of the puzzles are pretty difficult - unless you want to tackle it for the experience - then get lots of clues so you can keep moving as the payoff is fun, too. If you're an escape game pro, however, you'll love the unique nature and complexity of these puzzles. We highly recommend this room!

I'm no expert at escape rooms, but I've done a few different escape rooms and Dolrick's Escape Room sits comfortably near the top of the list. Our group of 5 was a mix of novice to intermediate puzzle solvers and we chose to do the Super Bomb Squad challenge. The amount of work that went into the puzzles was exceptional, and some of the techniques used to solve them were very unique and fun. I won't give any clues away but you can count on climbing through later tripwire, hacking personnel files (on a real computer), plugging patch cables to complete circuits, and even using a microscopic camera! If the puzzles themselves weren't enough I honestly can't speak more highly of the staff. They were very helpful in getting us started and gave our group just enough hints and nudges to get us through the escape room successfully. In fact we were so close at the end that they actually gave us 5 extra minutes to complete it when normally we would have just barely failed it! Although I can't claim that this is normal practice, it was really awesome and shows how passionate and nice the staff is. Once your hour is up you can get a free group photo using props that are themed to your specific escape room. There's also a pool table and some puzzles in the front lobby on case you arrive early or want to stay a little afterwards. Overall, if you're only able to try one escape room in the Orlando/Kissimmee area you'd be a fool not to go with Doldrick's

My husband and I were on the hunt for something to do for our last night in Florida and had driven past this one escape room on our way back to our hotel room from Disney Springs. Without reading reviews, we took a chance and ended up doing two rooms in one night; we did the Spoopy Gameshow and the Crazy Train and both were perfectly put together well, had fun/mind bending puzzles to solve, and so much fun. We’ve done a good couple handfuls of rooms together, and these were definitely different than the ones we’ve done back home in Chicago. Both had their required fair share of thinking outside of the box skills, and we truly had to communicate even more-so in the crazy train. Both rooms were definitely a full experience! Without giving too much away, the crazy train climaxes at the end! We were so happy to stick around for that as our second game and we can’t wait to come back! Madison was our game master and she explained everything with great intent and didn’t give us the clues indefinitely if we asked for one; she gave us more-so hints so we could figure it out for ourselves. All-around, awesome rooms! We will definitely be back!

Doldrick's Scape Room Impressive handling of conflict situations! My family and I decided to visit this place on Father's Day for the second year in a row. And we had one of the most fun and incredible experiences. We chose the game “Captain Spooky Bones” It is somewhat complicated but if you work as a team you can figure out the game. After a lot of effort, we did it! We have to admit that we received great customer service. And I wanted to mention that I, due to a mistake that didn't even cross my mind, took a piece from the game. We received a call from the owner who treated us with great respect at all times. After two days I found the piece in my purse and today I went to his business to return it and offer him an apology in person. So, I publicly offer another apology to the entire work team of this place and even more so to its owner who handled the situation with much tact, delicacy, kindness and professionalism! They are worthy of admiration and I am sorry for having caused you so much inconvenience! I appreciate their service and recommend them 1000%!

Doldricks is one of my favorite escape rooms. I’ve done two so far, one of the rooms twice, and I love it. Crazy Train was our most recent room and it was hilarious and so much fun. There were so many twists and turns. We had to keep going back And forth in the rooms to get everything accomplished. I’m not going to spoil some of the fun and hilarious things you get up to, but trust me it’s worth the experience. My family was laughing the whole time. There is a discount for Universal Orlando team members, but even if you don’t have that, it’s worth the price. It’s incredibly interactive. And you can’t beat the photo opportunity at the end. We beat that Skeemin Plotz, hopefully you can too. Shout out to Madison, our game master. While we didn’t need more than one clue, she was quick to jump in with just the right hint that we needed to figure the rest out. Thank you to the team for being open on Christmas Day!

Escape Room #140 (!!!) took us back to Doldrick’s in Kimissimmee for the first time since December 2019. This was their newest room, “Crazy Train: The Ballad of Skeemin’ Plotz”. After 140 games, I honestly think this may have been the absolute most fun escape room we’ve ever done. The theming, the aesthetic, the plot, the interactivity, just every thing about the room was pure *fun*. We were put into an old Dudley Do Right-style black & white cartoon, having to stop the dastardly villain before our train reached the end of the line. It was a 75 minute room that we solved with just 3:06 remaining, making it a great value for our money. I honestly cannot recommend this one highly enough. If you’re looking for an escape room in the Orlando area, I think this is my new top recommendation. The only problem is that all future escape rooms will now be held to this standard. :-) .
