I live on the lake. Fishing is fun and fast. Bass are active and good bream (sunfish - pan fish) are always hungry for worms. Sadly I have noticed that grass shrimp in this area seem to be invisible or people don't bother to sell them but if you come then bring some grass shrimp with you and you'll have the time of your life. NOTE there is a gator issue on this lake that people don't like to talk about but it's real.
