A very nice park with lots of room and parking. There is a large pavilion available. There are restrooms except no water fountain. The 20 acre park is very clean and there is a playground for children. The pavilion has many picnic tables and lots of shade. There are also tables under the trees along the sidewalk going to the fish launch. There are barbecues scattered throughout the park. Parking by the fish launch is reserved for cars and trucks with boat trailers. The park is dedicated to Herschel King who served 33 years in the Flagler school system from 1953 to 1986.
