Edit in response to owner reply: "Our campground is just not large enough to accommodate too many "rolling mansions' at the same time. That is part of the "Old Florida" charm of our campground." Transparency and honesty...If your business can't accomodate something then don't book it and charge people who then arrive to a facility that can't accomodate them. There are other campgrounds there who have addressed these issues. To me, the reviewer, the old-Florida charm is the quaint well maintained small old-Florida pier, shops, and homes. The lack of high rise buildings, walmart, and fast food. The ability to drive the coast without buildings blocking it. The kind locals. If I own a restaurant with seating for five I don't book a party of ten. That would be dishonest. Again, great location but poorly run and maintained. I camp all over the place and don't give poor ratings lightly...but...poorly managed and in desperate need of an overhaul to the site layouts and some hookups and facilities. Management and employees seem to put their lack of organization and communication on guests or blame the "new owners." We called all the way up to the day of arrival and they still did not have our 4 reservations right. It appears that they take care of regulars and long term people and cram in visitors. 15, 16,and 17 have literally a few feet between them and 22 shouldn't even be offered as a site as it is overflowing/busting at the seams even with my 17 foot camper. My awning touched the bath house. The poor folks on 16 while we were here were crowded out by what seemed to be regulars on the site next door that they could do no more than open the door to get out of the camper. 16 couldn't even roll an awning out past 2 feet open. They need to put the greed aside and eliminate a few sites to accomodate all the rolling mansions that people have these days. This place was built for the campers of the 50-60's and hasn't been touched since. The following are not ammenities I care about, but are not as advertised. Cable doesn't work (0 channels on multiple family member sites) and then when you ask about it they want to rent you a $60 cable box to make it work. Available wifi and password does not match the check-in docs received and never could get a working wifi signal as advertised even to check email. This also seemed to be my problem to the employees. Everything here seems to be long ignored and they cram in people to make a buck, but don't appear to care about repeat business or customer experience. Many sites have no parking even if you are in a tiny camper and the parking is in a lot across the street that is unmonitored outside office workers that close up at 4pm. "New owners" have a lot of work to do. Nice clubhouse, but only if you want your kid to get high from the secondhand weed smoke from their permanent residents hanging out there from the park across the street from the campground. 2 stars only because it is literally right on the ocean. There are other parks right on the water next door and down the road. Stay there until repairs and updates are made!!

First, we will be back to stay here again, but this review is based on facts from our stay. We stayed here for 6 nights on site 11 and our stay was in October. Cons: No privacy on this site, but it is oceanfront, directly in front of the beach access stairs. This site blocks 12A view. This site is very small, leaving no room for your vehicle(as are spots 8,9,10,11) we only have a 16' travel trailer and you must park across the street if there are spots available. We shuffled our truck around to multiple empty sites through out the week as there were no spots across the road(this is why the 4 stars and not 5). The showerhouse/bathrooms were closed, so we don't know what they had or what condition they were in to comment on. They did have a set of 1 washer and dryer which we did not use but the residents did. Pro: this campground is VERY pet friendly. There were several dogs and cats. As we travel with a dog, this is a big pro for us. This campground is located near a residential area, so there were multiple days I could not see anyone else on the beach in either direction which was a welcome change from other beaches. The snow birds that were here during our stay, were extremely welcoming and helpful for local eateries and attractions. There is a trailer park across the road that is also owned by flagler by the sea, and the waterway is behind it. We walked back there 1x and there was a man fishing. So fishing is accessible to campground tenants. Very quiet at night, no parties occurred during our stay, by 830 every night its as though everyone was in bed. A Publix was very close for groceries. There was Power, water, and sewer on all sites and was very easy to hook up to. Overall, a very good find for a great price. We plan on staying here again next time!

We absolutely loved our stay so much at Treasure By the Sea that we booked an extra night.. I can see why folks book months at a time here.. We had a corner site [#17] at this beautiful place. The site looks directly over the ocean from our front window on our class A Motorhome. Full hookups and beach access, are just steps away. We watched fishing and talked with the fishermen, whom we watched catch many fish. The morning sunrises are absolutely stunning, especially by the oceanfront sites. We we here during Biketoberfest in October, and the price goes up by $30 during that time..The office asked that we park our bike trailer across the street, which was a little tricky, but ended up working out fine. The laundry facilities are easy access, and quarters are available at the office. I’m hoping to book a month here w/Cathy, [who was a delightful person to to talk with] as soon as possible. I can’t wait to get back here!

Needs lots of upgrades. I read some of the less-than-positive reviews before booking there and decided to stay there for 3 nights anyway. In hindsight, wish we had stayed elsewhere.||||Pros:||1) Right on the beach. The single biggest benefit and they reason they can charge around $100 per night.||2) Very friendly staff. Don't believe they were the owners but I could be wrong.||||Cons:||1) Really run-down facility. Restrooms, showers, and laundry all need a major overhaul. Actually, they need to be torn down and rebuilt.||2) As mentioned in other reviews -- very, very cramped sites; especially if you have one that's oceanfront. We only have a 24' towable and it was extremely tight maneuvering around. Not much extra room anywhere and people basically tried to squeeze their extra cars/trucks in anywhere they could; including on our site.||3) Lots of what appears to be semi-permanent occupants. Not necessarily a bad thing on its own except that there appeared to be some who believed they owned the place and when you are crammed in so close together it does not make for a pleasant experience!||4) During our stay we had really poor water pressure and our electric hookup went out. They staff was nice enough to let us connect to an unoccupied site's outlet or we would have been heading back down the road.||||So two stars for the great oceanfront access and views and the friendliness of the staff. Zero stars for the rest of it. Lots of other beach side RV parks around including Beverly Beach Campground about 1/2 mile down the road which we checked out and will be booking next time we want to stay on the coast. My recommendation: Go...
