Excellent park. The park has a good amount of buildings. They are partially air conditioned so it is not terrible but some of the buildings were hot and some were cold. The park holds some fun events. Today we went to the Christmas Notes event. It had games, a gingerbread village candy walkway path, Free hot cocoa and sugar cookies the cookies were a bit stale tasting and the cocoa appeared to be prepared with water. They cookies had good sweetness. A live Victorian Christmas caroler choir from Lakeland Senior Highschool. They were really good. My favorite song they sang was O Little Town of Bethlehem. They did a great rendition. They had down crafts, Cowboy Snowman, Santa or Gingerbread men. They had Do-it-yourself reindeer food. With oatmeal and glitter. They had some games. Throw bean bags in Santa's oral crevices, Grinch ring toss, they also had a meet and greet with Santa Claus and had some decorations to see. They had a gift wrapping contest. There were Three (3) vendors and one food truck. We won a box of candy for Winning with the response card raffle. It was pretty fun. The buildings were very nice. My pal used the restroom and they said it had a piece of feces in it.I hope they employees clean it up. That's a big disgrace. The volunteers at the event made it so wonderful. They do so much good for Polk County Parks and Recreation. I hope to find more great...
