Review for Keystone Beach and Geneva Jungle Playground:

Keystone Beach and Geneva Jungle Playground offers a mixed experience for visitors. The abundance of picnic tables under shade trees, illuminated by lights, sets the stage for enjoyable daytime picnics or evening gatherings. Convenient power outlets at almost every table provide added convenience for charging devices. Additionally, the presence of grills and covered shelters enhances the overall picnic experience.

However, the state of the restrooms is a significant drawback. They are described as dirty and beyond disgusting, which is extremely frustrating for visitors. Improvement in this area is imperative for maintaining a positive experience for all visitors.

On a brighter note, the playground features a large wooden play structure, mostly fenced in and surrounded by wood mulch. The ample tree canopy provides shade throughout the area, creating a comfortable environment for play and relaxation. Moreover, the presence of a large sandy beach and ample parking adds to the appeal of the location.

Tennis courts nearby offer additional recreational opportunities for visitors. Overall, while Keystone Beach and Geneva Jungle Playground has its strengths, addressing the restroom cleanliness issue is crucial for enhancing the overall...

I am older and grayer now, but when I was a kid in the 1960s my family visited this place every year and rented a cabin on lake Geneva for our vacation. At that time, Keystone Heights was really hopping, or so it seemed to a kid like me. The lakes were great and water skiing was thing to do. Our friends also owned a cabin not far from Keystone Beach. I was visiting today and noticed the water levels have gone down significantly. As I understand it, the local power company is siphoning millions of gallons of water that is lowering the water supply. The city still looks nice and welcoming. We were there in December and the house at Keystone Beach was closed. I'm guessing that it is closed for the 'winter'. Still, it looks like a nice place to go during the summer. What I didn't expect was the sign warning about...

This is a nice place for a short get together or maybe to hide Easter eggs for kids or really anything that you can get accomplished in an hour, hour and a half tops. Anything longer than that and somebody, maybe even everybody in your group is going to need the bathroom. Hence, my 3 star review. They've done great work on the playground and the other areas but the bathrooms are a problem. The doors don't latch so your poop better be a quick one. And I hope you brought hand sanitizer because the soap dispensers are not just empty, they're not even there. Bring yourself a beach towel as well because you're going to need it to dry your hands due to the lack of a towel dispenser...

We had my daughters 6th Birthday here. The playground is wooden fort style with only one entrance so kids can play and adults can sit at one of the many picnic tables in the shade. There's also the lake which my kids also love. We used both. My only complaint is that there aren't picnic tables under the pavilion. Otherwise I would've given 5 stars. There's the regular parking in the lot plus additional parking across the street in a wooded area. It's a nice place to take the kids to play, swim, or do both. There are wheelchair accessible ramps to get down to the park/tables area as well which was a huge plus.
