Mariner's Cove Park — Attraction in Florida

Only 1 boat ramp..older park, kids playground, I must say, I get a very creepy vibe from this place.It is kind of secluded and not very busy near kids area/ bathroom/ picnic area . I just don't feel safe here. Roads are rough that lead to playground area. I have launched a kayak with a partner but would never go alone here. If you paddle in the right direction you are heading towards big opening to Lake monroe , too choppy out there on windy days. Go left from ramp you are heading towards Stone Island. I was warned that there is an aggressive gator that direction from a home owner it hangs around her dock area so sounds like a fool has been feeding him. Not cool. We high tailed it out of there.
