Had fun looking around at the potter's museum and learning how it came to be and how they created some of the most realistic historical wax figures. We parked behind the museum and went in. They also have a lil shop in front where you buy tickets. $13.99 adults and kids $7.99. Staff is very friendly and can help answer any questions you may have. Great price for how much work they put into making them. Takes 6 mths to a year to make one detailed wax figure using real hair and I think prosthetic teeth and eyes. Interesting to read about each character as you walk through and even play some of the music and answer some fun quizzes on the walls. Bigger than what I had thought and hope they expand with more. Just gave me ideas on who they should make next. Lol Like maybe some popular social influencers or Lucille ball, Alfred Hitchcock or love more additional presidents. What they have are awesome, detailed and the expressions on some very nice n creepy. Lol. The bathrooms are good. Has a baby changing station and seen some wax heads in there as you go in. They also have a small fun horror section.

It was okay. It was a very small place. I am glad we had a coupon for a discount. It still cost almost $15 for 2 people. Many of the exhibits need a good cleaning. The Star Wars exhibit seemed out of place as most of the characters were not wax. The artist area could be so much better. For most of the time we were present there was no one working on anything, then one of the employees (not an artist) sat in the area and answered a few questions, but not really any more info than you could get from the placards. The many historical figures in the museum needed their costumes refreshed. Most had accessories that were falling apart or cheap looking. There are lots of heads in a case that need bodies. Most of the contemporary characters they have heads for like "The Arnold", Jerry Seinfeld, etc had no body. The story was that these heads once had bodies but "something happened to them". This place it definitely NOT Madame Tussaud's.

Great experience all around from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave. The cashiers at the front & the woman who tells you about the background of the museum before you enter are friendly and funny. It is self paced, meaning you guide yourself through the museum and you can take as much time as you would like looking at everything and taking pictures are encouraged. Each wax object is made with human hair that was donated to the museum and everything looks so REAL! From historic & presidential people to fun classics like star wars. Price isn't bad either, $16 a person.

This is a small place but it had some interesting historical figures to see and learn about. The entrance permits the oldest drug store and is full of old medicine bottles and equipment and the employees running thre counter are dressed in lab coats to keep with the theme. It also has the added bonus of having a studio right in the middle of the museum where you can see an employee molding new figures. He will stop to answer questions about the process and show you what he's working on. Very good experience, I recommend visiting if you get the chance.
