My husband and I had a pleasure of dining here when we visited St. Augustine for the in August. The reviews were positive and we wanted to keep it simple and stay close to our AirBNB rental, so we chose this establishment and figured we’d give it a try. Cesar was our server and he was on the ball from the start. He greeted us and took our drink orders within a minute after we were seated. Cesar happily answered questions we had about the multiple dipping/side sauces and made a couple recommendations based on our preferences. He even saved us a few bucks by doing so! Cesar is very personable and made eye contact when speaking, which to me tells a lot about a person. Our orders were placed and sitting in front of us quite quickly, but in a good way, as the presentations were perfect. Beautifu, juicy burgers with glistening fries – who could ask for more!? Both of our orders were accurate and prepared exactly as requested. Saying everything was delicious is an understatement. even the coleslaw was really good!! But the burgers… My gosh… These are, hands-down, one of the best burgers and fries (both regular & sweet pot) we’ve ever experienced, and believe me, we’ve had a few burgers in our time, especially since we both grew up where what we believed to be the diner capitol of the country…NJ. and both of us have been around the block a few times ;) . Cesar promptly checked on us a couple times during our meal and kept the drink refills coming without us asking. When we left under an hour later, we were fat and happy and made sure we reflected our complete satisfaction with his the tip. The fries were so good that stopped back the next day to pick up a fresh order to have with our leftovers for lunch. We will definitely visit them again during our next trip to St. Aug and wholeheartedly recommend others to stop in for some awesome food and...
Read moreThis yummy burger 🍔 place is a one stop shop in St. Augustine real close to Flagler College. I was really impressed with the quality of ingredients. As you can see even the photo I took of the condiments has no high fructose corn syrup in the ketchup. It's these little things that reviewers like myself pick up on. Now my experience here. I took a walk to the restaurant from old Town and walked right past the rich history of the area and Flagler College. When I walked in I see a ice cream counter to the right and the bar with a brick oven to the left. I ask where to be seated because no sign or host was available. I was told to sit any where so I chose the best spot where I could watch everything going on. I asked my server what gluten free options are available to find out almost anything on the menu. Gluten free crust for pizza, and bun for any burger too. I was also told the fries are a dedicated frier so I was super excited to get fries. I decided on the veggie burger which most are not gluten free but this restaurant makes sure they are from the brand they buy. My order came out super fast and I was hungry 😋. The fries were like stake fries very large and super yummy. Then I tried the burger to be surprised it was very flavorful and good. Not dry or mushy just right. I was to full to have the ice cream but it looked really yummy. I also liked the cool cow decorations on the wall. After eating this delicious man sized meal I talked with the manager on duty. He stated this restaurant has been open for 6 years and the owner decided to open into the restaurant business after running several gas stations in the area. We are thank you did cause I recommended this restaurant. If you are in the area or just passing by like myself this is a great meal. Tell...

My husband, daughter, and I dined here this past weekend and absolutely loved the burgers. Each of us finished our entire burger, only thing we brought home were some leftover French fries. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere welcoming, and the restaurant was spotless. We were all pleasantly surprised by the experience, especially since the restaurant is slightly off the beaten path from the main area of the historic district—definitely a bit of a walk. However, there's a convenient parking lot available, so if you're not up for the walk, driving is a great option.
We did have a couple of critiques. First, the restaurant has only a single-occupancy bathroom. Given the volume of tourists in St. Augustine, a single-person restroom seems inadequate. A smaller, multi-stall restroom would be much more efficient. Second, the fried mozzarella was overly greasy. That said, my husband and daughter really enjoyed the fried pickles.
A nice bonus is the on-site ice cream parlor. Whether you're cooling off after a walk to the nearby distillery or winery, or just craving a sweet treat, it’s a great option—either to enjoy there or to take with you.
Overall, we found the prices reasonable. Whether that was because we visited on a Sunday or if those prices are consistent throughout the week is unclear, so you may want to double-check if pricing is a concern.
All in all, it's definitely worth a visit for some quality family time. They offer large tables for bigger groups as well as a cozy atmosphere for date nights. A great little gem in historic St. Augustine!
