I love coming to this park with my daughter. I love that it's got sand for the children so they can take their shoes off when they're playing. Write down the small hill there's a swimming area that's only about 5 ft deep at the most. Yes it is fresh water so it's a bit brackish but it's good for children to play in so long as the parents are attending to them. They do have life vests there for children to use when they're swimming. They also have a boat launch or boat ramp I should say and a small docking area. There are shaded awnings and barbecue areas lot of benches and seating lots of open space shade trees. It's really a good place to go. And I believe there's also an RV parking Community right there for those of you that drive your RVs down here but I'm not entirely sure about all that I just see it when I pull in.

Amazing campground! Almost every site is on the water, amazing camp hosts, beautiful scenery, fairly level concrete pads, covered picnic tables at each site, very well maintained grounds, great fishing, boat launch, bathrooms/ adequate shower facilities, DOG FRIENDLY!! First time seeing manatees! Boats moving through the lock during the day, fishing from the dam, sunrise and sunsets are gorgeous. Smaller campground (30 sites) positioned perfectly for privacy as well as beautiful views of the water..(instead of your neighbors!) Definitely suggest reservations...well ahead of time...seems to stay booked. We have a 33ft 5th wheel with a slide and awning and had plenty of space.

It is a really good environment in the park. You can do a lot of stuff. They have a ramp so if you have boat or jetski you can launch right in the river from there. There is a nice playground for the kids with sand. They have gazebo for rent for big parties at a good price and a few tables with barbecue that are first come first had it. Thing to know in the river I saw an alligator so I don’t recommend little kids get in it.

This park is a great part to take your family to for a picnic anytime of the year. The park offers a lot of amenities For Your Entertainment and fun. This park has RV spots and camping spots on the east side. There is plenty of parking which includes boat ramp parking. There are numerous amounts of picnic spots that are covered pavilions with large charcoal grills to have a family picnic. There are a lot of activities involved with this River as you can go boating, kayaking, and fishing on this River. There are also sports related activities including horseshoe pits, volleyball and a large jungle gym for the kids with swings. The boat ramp is very large and accommodating for small or large watercraft. There are free loaner services including life vests, volleyballs and horseshoes for the activities at the park if you don't have them. The admission into the park is free and there is free parking. Pets are welcome on a leash. They also have a visitor center that you can go to to learn about the wild life and the park itself. You can watch the boats come into the locks through the access area. This park is easily accessible off Palm Beach Boulevard in Old Olga. The handicap parking is plentiful and very accessible. Volunteers in the park are always there...
