Great place for a picnic and to drop your boat/jetski in the water. Great facilities. Covered picnic tables, restrooms, plenty of parking, single boat ramp. There is no dock, but plenty of soft sand to beach the boat. All this for free!

I was pleasantly surprised... the area is neat and clean... we had a group for a birthday party BUT the flying insects were a menace...

No place to tie up boat to launch. Have to "beach it" on the shore and park your truck.. very steep ramp. If big boat definitely need 4 wheel drive. Don't advise launching big expensive boat. Docks been closed for 6 months they say. ..... but DIDN'T see any blue green algae all summer...
