A great place to paddle our kayaks. But only when the lake is high. These channels were made by gold dredges and now have been reclaimed by the flora and fona. Some of the channels were only a foot or two deep and no currents. The tunnel is always fun. As you pass through the tunnel sing your favorite song or whistle a toon. Saw turtles stretching their long necks to soak up the Suns heat. Deer crossing from one island to the next. And a huge Bald Eagle fishing on the lake. We found a small gap in the reads barely big enough for my 3' wide kayak to squeeze through. I scraped the stern a little as I pushed through the reeds. The channel slowly widened as we paddled in. At about 20' in the channel opened into a small hidden pond with a large shade tree over the water. We barely saw it. Can't wait to get back and explore more....

Read moreThe PRICE was outrageous for the short ride with the group of people who agreed with me that this was no different than a merry go round for the plain fact we had to stay head to toe without venturing out side the line wail our guides galloped around the terrain as we sat and watched them enjoying them selves. Boring is an understatement. Sure I didn't approve of the professionalism of the staff members and that probably has alot to do with my opinion now. That in it's self is a whole nother complaint.
