Went to Jim Dandy farms because our usual spot, Lake Jew farms, was too busy (lines everywhere for everything). Sooo Jim Dandy started out to be a cute little farm, but the pumpkins are not grown there that I could see, maybe they grow them somewhere else on the property? The pumpkins were placed on a little field. We picked our pumpkins and then went to the register. The lady working the register wasn’t nice at all. We wheeled our cart in and she immediately said “ I can tell you right now, that those pumpkins are going to be expensive.” So we said okay and put one on the scale. She said it was going to be $19.90 because it was so thick and heavy (for one pumpkin!) .. it was a little bigger than a normal pumpkin but wasn’t very tall. Read moreThis is a beautiful farm and market that Dani can visit for weekends. They do have sunflower maze and the produce are really fresh. The fees is 5$ per person. You get homemade jams and local honey here. I definitely recommend this place for family with kids to come and enjoy the farm and nature.
