The small detail I wld like to add isn't in my opinion isn't the location as it is where you go when you want to not be found for a day and get back to nature. I located the lake on Google maps and was not educated per say on the layout of said lake and I made the mistake of overconfidently believing maps was going to direct me to the public access boat launch of the lake. I never took the time to do the homework and say that maps directs you to public boat launches when you type in a local lake so I take part blame as well for assuming. I said a few choice words when I was at my destination but on a shared access dirt road with privately owned camps surrounding me. It wasn't exactly lying to me, I had very much arrived at the lake, in a location I would be deemed trespassing on if I took the initiative to travel on the property to reach the lake. I also was telling maps I wasn't happy after I got the right directions from my son's pin drop and the darn thing directed me right past the boat launch and another 9 miles out. It's the small joys of the yooper way of life, getting lost all while navigating so you don't and having a few choice words with a fictional being who got toy lost only to laugh at yourself later.
