Ananse Village — Attraction in Fort Bragg

I was looking up the business hours and saw a 1 star review, with a really positive message... That seems like an error... one that might lower the overall rating. So, I will say I love this shop. They have home goods; indoor and outdoor decor, dinnerware, table linen, cooking utensils, baskets, accent furniture, rugs, and books. They also have a small selection of beautiful clothing (some vintage), a large collection of beautiful jewelry and handbags. There are also beads! All of the items are gorgeous. If you wanted to see everything you could spend at least an hour. I have purchased many items from here, the prices were fair and the people working there are helpful and knowledgable. I loved shopping here! There was a vast array of fair trade items, well-priced and well-made. They aren't always cheap but if you go to the store's website, watch the videos on how the craftspeople in Ghana make these things, and then factor in the cost of importing them, you begin to see what a bargain you're getting. I bought a beautiful batik indigo caftan, washed it a few times as advised to remove the excess dye and now have the prettiest and most comfortable robe I've had in years. I am sorry to say that I passed by this store every week for over 7 years and never stopped. Not really knowing what it had to offer i was astonished with how large it was, what unique items they carried and the kindness offered by the owner and staff. This was on Christmas eve and the selection was full of amazing and beautiful gifts. I will not try to tell you everything that they offered, you will just have to visit the store and see for yourself.
