Glass Fire Art Glass Gallery — Attraction in Fort Bragg

My wife and I went to Mendocino for our anniversary recently. We happen to drive by the gallery and it looked really beautiful so we did a U-turn to check it out. The moment we walked into the gallery, we were absolutely entranced. All of the beautiful glasswork was museum quality art that just captivated us in a profound way. We felt privileged to not only experience the beauty of the art but meet the artist in person as he shared a glimpse into his gift for creating handblown glass and the meticulous process he uses that allows light to dance through a myriad of colors and textures in any given piece. We will definitely be back to purchase something soon... And even writing that feels odd to say, in that it’s almost a tragedy that people can purchase such beautiful things that really should be in museum to share with the world. In these times of cheap, mass produced, cookie-cutter, one size fits all abominations of so called “art”, these gifted artists utilize old world tradition to create authentic, contemporary masterpieces. We are blessed too own a wonderful organization that works with young adults that have challenges and we shared our photos and they all viewed your website... needless to say they were moved to express their own creativity. Truly an experience not to be missed on your Mendocino adventure.

Beautiful glass-blown artwork and lighting fixtures. My husband and I stopped by on our way out of town, and Trish and Buster invited us to watch them blowing a vase. It was so cool to see their process! Afterward we went into the gallery and fell in love with some pendant lights, except they weren't quite the right color for our kitchen. Luckily that wasn't a problem for Trish and Buster! They worked with us to design a custom piece, carefully working to match to our color scheme. They actually created several samples in order to perfect the color and give us options! Would definitely recommend checking this place out, and we will be back again for sure when we are...

Their gallery is beautiful and the owners were incredibly nice! I wish I had brought more money with me on vacation! You can't walk into this shop without buying something.
