Guido van Helten Silo Mural — Attraction in Fort Dodge

…not sure how I found about these silo murals but…we were travelling across Iowa in our motorcoach and decided to divert our trip to see them….and we are soooo glad we did. They’re amazing! Hopefully, you can see from the photos that we parked our coach in the parking lot (thankfully, there was no one else there as I had looked at google photos to see if we could even get in here). This is a fantastic display of artistry. I am amazed at the artist's ability to showcase such details on a large scale. The location is not difficult to find and there is even a small parking lot adjacent to the silos. A concrete walking path is also provided and you can walk around the entire display to fully appreciate each painted surface of the silos.

I just happened to see a listing for this place, and it was only a few minutes off of our route. We were the only people there at the time of our visit, which made parking with a travel trailer hassle free.
