Bill Keith packs a punch for such a small park. Outside of a comfortably shaded walk or lunch with what feels like an exclusive view of passing watercraft, another good use of the park would be to observe a brackish ecosystem (I think). You can see different stages of mangrove growth up close, and a mini depression amongst some pretty tall cypress trees. I think theres a potential for it to be a good place for portrait photographers. I took wildlife macros but maybe I need to return if theres any cool birds around.

A secret place and a brief glimpse into what Florida must have been prior to runaway development. This little slice of natural history is, sadly, surrounded by water that is quite polluted with plastic and trash, which has washed into the park. It’s too bad the community doesn’t come together to figure out how to keep their parks and waterways free from pollution. Multi-million dollar homes and yachts encircle this park yet this little oasis for nature and animals is impoverished and neglected.

This is a really nice oasis, a little gem hidden in the middle of the city. Trials, vegetation, water and peace. Even parking. I found this place by chance and immediately it is becoming one of my favorite ones. Once here I felt transported to travel in contact with our mother nature. Area is well taken care of and people are very friendly. And again, I breathe a warm peaceful feeling that cheers and calms the spirit at the same time. Totally recommended.

I love this preserve it's just sad because there is so much litter that washes up from the boats. I'm not even kidding you like a serious amount of garbage washes up on this preserve. There are people that clean it up every week, however, there are parents that are bringing their small children there with buckets and shovels thinking it's like a little Beach and letting him play in the filthy filthy sand and God only knows what else is in there. So please if you are parents of small young children don't allow them to play in the water over there it's...
