I like this course in general and play here fairly often. However, as they have raised the price 17.6% to ride this season, my expectations increase as well. While the price is less than most other options, they need to make improvements. Since they now have all this extra money they could fix all the dead spots on tees and fairways, buy more rakes so they could be in traps not on carts, employ rangers who will improve pace of play rather than driving around trying to avoid eye contact and filling out paperwork but never hurrying slow groups along, fixing cart paths and widening them from their woefully narrow size, killing invasive weeds and grasses and water it more. The greens are usually in good shape, with notable exceptions as in the photo. The golf shop used to be well stocked but now is mostly empty with a small amount of merchandise. Pace of play is slow with no attempt ever made to improve it. I would love to see the City put the money back into the course and make it more enjoyable.

On line reservation system is confusing and unreliable. Sometimes the same tee time reservation must be made several times before it is acknowledged. Then when checking in at the pro shop the reservation is not showing despite confirmations sent to your email. Using the online system doesn't seem worth the effort. Either fix it or lose it. I have been playing and enjoying Eastwood for over 30 years. It has always been and remains a beautiful layout and a fun play. The front nine renovation has made the course more difficult but conditions overall have improved. Current conditions are outstanding. It's a great course at an affordable price with a friendly and helpful staff. Along with Ft. Myers Country Club, Lee county residents are fortunate to have these TWO golf course gems!

Nice public course, just moved here from Arizona. I played this course 6 months ago on a visit and it's a beautiful course. Price for a round was fair to me a season pass was an option, just a bit out of my price range. The downfall here to me is that the range is restricted to 240 yards! When you have the long ball it's nice to unload! 240 I can't stretch my legs!!! Here your restricted, great range otherwise! Beer's a great price 6 for 20 and some change for domestic! Gave 2 to the guys behind me it was a good day today so why not share the happiness! Can't wait to be back for a round can't say I so much for the range.

This is a great public course and cheaper than most options in the surrounding area. During their off season, it’s $60 before 3:30pm to play 18 and $30 after 3:30pm to play 18! We paid $60 for 9 around 10:30am, with a cart. Not bad. They do have a driving range! They do have a lot of doglegs on the front 9, some water, narrow fairways and trees but even with a beginner we were able to make our way around the course without losing too many balls. I would definitely come back. The staff in the club house could be more friendly, but that’s my only complaint.
