AKA, the Hippie Hole. It's a great place to cool down on a Summer day. Chill in one of the calmer pools above the falls or take a jump into the deeper waters below it. If youre feeling more adventurous, you can also go "boulder hopping". There's something for any age here. The original parking location is now closed off. Instead you have to park at the lookout and take a 0.6 mile trail to get here. Right before you get there, the trail has a steep decline, but is pretty manageable since there are now man-made stone steps for assistance. Just remember you now have to walk back up!

The really big waterfall was at the beginning on a very nice manufactured trail, the swimming hole is about a 20-30 minute hike down a trail. It was a moderately easy hike, but the very steep “stairs” at the end of the trail made the hike way more difficult. The path starts out smooth with dirt and a few tree stumps, but quickly turns into big rocks that you have to step on. The views were completely worth it though, we will absolutely be going back. It just wasn’t as easy of a trail as we were expecting it to be.

We wasted 15 minutes trying to find Martha falls in this location. But Martha Falls is 4.3 miles South East from this spot in US-35. Martha's Falls Parking lot (Coordinates : 34.392004, -85.618784) is to the right after you have crossed Little River Canyon bridge and travelled 0.6 miles SE in US-35 (look for the brown sign-board). From parking lot, walk about half a mile on the trail, take a left turn, and climb down to the canyon. The waterfalls is just 3 or 4 feet high and you approach it from top. But there is a HUGE swimming home with awesome diving spots and the entire hole is at least 10 feet deep everywhere. Absolutely wonderful spot. I...

Natural paradise! Access from trail starting at rear of “Little River Falls” parking area. Hike is optimal length not to long not to short maybe (maybe 20-25 min with kids), mostly level grade with roots and rocks, steep area going down to river. 4.5 yr old navigated entire trail. Had to carry 2.5 yr old some. You will likely want to go wading or be prepared to go swimming in this beautiful place. Be prepared! The rock river bed almost everywhere is extremely slick it helps to wear something like crocs. Very little trash. A few items of clothing left behind. Pack it in...
