This fall is so beautiful! Although my daughter and I were unable to figure out how others were able to walk on the top of the waterfall, we adored it from afar.
Science Tip: When taking pictures from afar, if you have a view finder that you are able to look through and have a phone with a camera on it, try this!
Place your camera on one (hole on either side) of the view finder. If you hold it just right, you are able to capture a picture of the object up closer! This also works with telescopes, microscopes, etc. See my pictures for the difference! (Only the first few starting from the Scenic Waterfall are with the view finder.)
From the beginning of this road is a 12 mile drive of stopping areas for scenic views. There are hiking areas as well.

Read moreThe best way to view Little River waterfall is at the Little River Canyon Falls parking lot which is just south of rt. 176 called" River Canyon Rim Parkway" on Route 35. There are three viewing areas of the river one is on Route 76 and Overlook right after you turn on 176 from Route 35. Then from the parking lot on 35 there are a wheelchair accessible ramp to a viewing observation platform. Then there's a natural Trail off of the wheelchair path that's 3/4 of a mile long very strenuous very Rocky with 148 Rock built-in steps down to the river.
