Follow the instructions on the website and you'll be just fine. Send in visitor info ahead of time, show up at your designated time, and you'll be good (assuming you can pass their background check to even be allowed in). A group of 6 of us went for a work trip (we work in the aviation field) and it was a neat setup. Our guide was a vet who was very familiar with the aircraft and history, and if you're into aviation, there are some really cool things to see. Only downside was the simulators and some artifacts and pieces and such were not available, as the museum is in the process of packing things up to move to a different location, but that's no fault of theirs. Read moreThis is a really cool museum to visit. It's within the actual base itself so there's security checks and all that. When I went a few years ago it was a background search at the gate and an inspection of your car.
I think it's changed to requiring advance notice and at the moment it's unfortunately closed for some heightened security reason or another.
