Old Fort Sumner Cemetery and Chamber of Commerce — Attraction in Fort Sumner

The nearby Bosque Redondo Memorial is I don't miss stop if you're in this area! The Old Fort Sumner Cemetery with a burial marker for Billy the Kid, sadly was closed when I stopped by which was last year in February, While the building was closed. the cemetery and the area around it was open and accessible. It was worth the short drive off the beaten path to check it out though but most people probably would have no interest other than the Billy the Kid marker sadly.
