My secret paradise. You don’t know about it. Few know about it.
I go there early in the morning and hear the hoot owls calling. The maintainers of this park are collecting and labeling all different types of trees so you can look at their bark and leaves and learn their names as you walk.
For little kids there is an immaculate playground with cool, adventurous swings and ropes and slides.
For young people there are well maintained ball fields and courts.
For families and friends there are numerous covered seating areas with grills and picnic tables.
And for old men like me there are walking paths and trees and hoot owls.

Read moreReally nice playground, but attracts undesirable characters. While we were there, there was a vehicle driving erratically in the parking lot. That seemed to be the only reason they were there. A man came in his truck and just sat and watched the kids play. Almost positive there was a drug exchange at one point. People come up there to smoke weed, idk why they can't just keep it at home. There are children playing! It would be great if the was a police office posted there permanently, but I understand they can't do that. Overall an uncomfortable place to be. Probably won't...

The playground area is nice as are the paved walking trails. They are used frequently by many. The reason for the 4 stars is lack of shade available at the ball fields.
