Holy Name Catholic Church — Attraction in Fort Worth

If I could give this church 1 star, I would. I've been attending mass here since I was a child. I am now 23 and attend mass every now and then with my family, who are avid members of the church. My brother, who is 7, was set to be baptized and went through the proper paperwork and meetings to be able to do so. We arrived at the church, whole family in tow, and was told ONLY WHEN we reached the front of the church and the holy water was about to touch my brother's head that he would NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE BAPTIZED. My family and I all did a double take and were shocked how we weren't told this beforehand. Another little girl had the same thing happen to her and she broke down in tears crying. Apparently you need to do your chatechsim before being baptized but the office stated that he needed to be baptized before starting his catechism, so there was a lot of confusion and frustration that came from our family. We went in to talk to the father and my Aunt told the priest, "It's things like this that make the youth want to retreat from the church." to which he responded: "If they wish to leave the church, then so be it. "

Never coming back to this church, the current priest is corrupt and to be treated in such a way somewhere where you wouldn't expect it is disgusting.
